Terms and Conditions

By using our cargo and courier services, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully before booking your shipment. 

Our Services 

We handle the pickup, export-grade packaging, customs clearance, and international shipping of your cargo through our global logistics partners. 

Items We Do Not Ship 

We do not accept restricted, dangerous, or illegal items. This includes explosives, flammable liquids, weapons, contraband, and perishable items. If you submit banned items, you will be responsible for any resulting fines, damages, or legal costs. 

Packaging and Weight Calculation 

Our team packs all goods using export-standard materials to ensure safe transit. Final shipping rates are calculated after packing is complete, based on whichever is higher between the actual weight and the volumetric (dimensional) weight. We inspect items before packing and are not responsible for pre-existing damage on goods brought to us. 

Customs Clearance and Taxes 

You authorize Namaste Cargo Nepal to act as your agent to clear export and import customs. You must provide truthful details about the contents and commercial value of your shipment. While we manage the clearance process, we are not responsible for delays caused by foreign government inspections or border holds. Any destination customs duties, local taxes, or clearance fees must be paid by the receiver or sender. 

Liability Limits 

We are not liable for delays caused by weather, flight cancellations, or customs actions. In the event of lost or damaged goods caused directly by our handling, our liability is limited to standard industry coverage based on weight, unless you purchase extra shipment insurance in advance. 

Claims 

Any claim for missing or damaged items must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of delivery. You must keep the original packaging for inspection. Claims made after this window will not be accepted.

Payment

Full payment for shipping charges must be made before your package leaves our Kathmandu office. We reserve the right to hold physical goods until all unpaid balances are settled.
