International express delivery is a door-to-door service. Someone picks up your parcel in Kathmandu (or wherever you're based), it gets checked and documented for export, cleared through Nepali customs, flown out, cleared through customs at the other end, and handed to the recipient. The "express" part means it moves through this chain using priority air routes instead of sitting in slower, consolidated freight.

Every international shipment needs paperwork, even a small personal parcel. At minimum, expect to provide:
A copy of your citizenship or passport
A commercial invoice or declared value for the contents (customs uses this to assess duty at the other end)
A short description of what's inside and why it's being sent (gift, personal use, sale, sample, etc.)
Some destinations ask for more. Sending food to the US, for example, needs an FDA Prior Notice, and medicines need a doctor's prescription in English plus the original pharmacy bill. We'll tell you exactly what's needed for your destination when you book, so you don't need to research this yourself.
Most everyday items can be shipped without issue: documents, clothes, gifts, books, electronics, and commercially packed dry food are all common examples. A few categories are restricted or banned outright across nearly every destination: cash and precious metals above personal-use limits, liquids and chemicals, weapons, perishable food, and anything narcotic. There's no single flat rate for international express delivery. The cost depends on a few specific factors:
Chargeable weight: couriers charge whichever is higher between actual weight and volumetric weight (a measure based on the size of the box), so a large, light box can cost more than you'd expect
Destination: closer, high-volume routes (like the Gulf) are generally cheaper than long-haul, low-volume ones
Service type: express costs more than economy, but arrives faster
What you're sending: documents are cheaper to ship than physical goods, and fragile or high-value items may carry a small handling or insurance fee
Because these factors change your total, we don't publish flat prices. A shipment to Dubai and a shipment to Toronto of the same weight can cost quite differently. Send us the weight, destination, and what you're shipping, and we'll get you an exact quote, usually within the hour.
We're based in Thamel, Kathmandu, and we handle both the courier side and the customs side of your shipment ourselves, rather than outsourcing the paperwork. That matters because most delays in international shipping happen at customs, not in transit, and having someone local who knows the documentation cuts that risk down. Most express shipments arrive within 3 to 7 business days depending on the destination. Regional routes like India and the Gulf tend to be faster, while long-haul destinations like the Americas or Australia take a bit longer.
